Microsoft Autopilot Pre-provisioning

This service adds pre-provisioning to the standard Microsoft Autopilot process, allowing the device to be prepared in the customer’s Microsoft environment before it reaches the end user. It is intended for organizations that want to reduce setup time at first login and ensure that devices arrive with applications, policies, and configurations already applied as far as the deployment model allows.

What is included

• Windows Autopilot registration
• Pre-provisioning of the device
• Processing through the customer’s deployment workflow so that required applications, configurations, and policies can be delivered in advance

During pre-provisioning, the device is powered on, connected to the network, and prepared in the customer’s environment before delivery. This shortens the end-user onboarding phase and helps create a more controlled and predictable deployment experience.

Requirements

• Active network connectivity
• Access to the customer tenant
• Microsoft Entra ID
• Microsoft Intune or another supported device management solution that supports Windows Autopilot
• Completed Autopilot onboarding process with the necessary permissions approved before the first order

Service process
As part of the service process, the device is powered on and basic functionality is verified before delivery.

Important note
This service does not include a Microsoft Windows Ready-to-use Clean Image installation. The existing supported Windows installation on the device is used as the basis for pre-provisioning.

Recommended option
For customers who want the benefits of pre-provisioning together with a clean and fully updated Windows environment, the recommended option is Microsoft Autopilot Pre-provisioning + Ready-to-use Clean Image.

Lead time
The target lead time is 2–4 business days, depending on order size, application volume, policy scope, and overall provisioning complexity.
