Flextail Tiny Sleeping Pad R05 AVS Mummy Inflatable Mattress (Orange) The Flextail Tiny Sleeping Pad R05 AVS Mummy is an ultralight camping mattress designed for year-round camping—even in cold temperatures. The R-Value of 6.0 provides effective protection against cold from the ground, ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep even during winter camping trips. The tapered profile reduces weight and pack size, while the multi-layered insulation construction helps retain heat throughout the night. Integrated AVS pump – quick inflation and deflation The mattress is equipped with an integrated AVS system featuring a compact pump that allows for automatic inflation in approximately 90 seconds. The same module can be flipped to efficiently deflate the mattress when packing it up. This solution eliminates the need for an external pump or manual inflation, making it easier to set up a sleeping area in the field. Excellent insulation with low weight The R-Value of 6.0 is high for this weight class and allows for comfortable use of the mattress in sub-zero temperatures. The multi-layered construction with a heat-reflective layer reduces energy loss, increasing insulation efficiency. The mattress weighs approximately 588 g, and its tapered shape reduces excess material outside the body support zone, which lowers weight and packed volume. This is essential for trekking, bikepacking, and winter expeditions. Sleep comfort and stable support The chambered structure evenly distributes body pressure and minimizes sagging. A thickness of approximately 7 cm when inflated effectively insulates against uneven ground and enhances sleep comfort even on harder terrain. Compact when packed When folded, the mattress takes up little space and fits into a carrying case. The low pack volume makes it easier to organize your backpack and transport camping gear. Durable outdoor construction The material with an insulating coating is resistant to stretching and outdoor conditions.
