Motorola has subjected the radiotelephone to a murderous accelerated wear and tear test simulating even five years of equipment life in the field (rain and wind of constant intensity acting for 30 minutes on all surfaces of the device, up to 9 hours of vibrations simulating the conditions in which the radiotelephone may be located during transfer or transport,48 hours of exposure of the device to salt fog, blow of dust and dust on all surfaces of the device for 6 hours, 18 shocks of minimum 40G each)!
