Optimized settings for tailor-made voice recordings Make sure your voice recordings are fail-safe by choosing one of the provided scenes MEMO, TALK, MUSIC or LP (“Long Play”). Saved folders are sorted by recording scene so you can easily search from recording scene. This can shorten the file search time. Designed to capture every tone The noise-cancellation function powerfully reduces unwanted ambient noise such as air-conditioner noise or projector fan noise enabling clear playback quality. The function is very effective when playing back meeting recordings. It can be set by long press of the Noise Cancel button while the recorder is stopped or playing a file. Easy connection to save your data Simply connect your voice recorder to your PC with a micro USB-cable. Like this you will be able to manage all your data, in an environment you are used to. Less noise. More sound The Low-cut Filter efficiently eliminates lower-frequency noise such as air conditioners, projectors and outdoor wind to allow for even clearer voice recordings. With the VN-541PC the Low-cut Filter is always turned on except if the Music Scene is turned on. Extend the recording capability Use the built-in microphone jack with the Olympus Microphone range to widen the sound capture capability. Use the headphone jack to monitor the sound to check if the quality fits to your required output. Shaped to fit your index finger Operation has been greatly improved, with large, highly visible buttons that can be thumb-operated, and a front speaker for easy listening. The unit has been designed to fit the forefinger, and made easier to carry.
